04. Merging articles

Merging articles into a technical file

Below are some examples:

Example 1:

In rows 2,3 and 4, there are articles from the same supplier, made of the same material, only the shape and color differ, this can possibly be put together in 1 file

  • Insert in column D ‘main article number’ the article number shown on the file page.

The Technical File page includes the following information: The asterisk (*) indicates that multiple articles are included in the file. When you hover your mouse over the asterisk, a pop-up list will display the additional articles, up to a maximum of 10 lines.

Example 2:

Here are three items from the same supplier, however one is delivered later. Merge the two articles together, and import the other article separately, first the first file with the two articles can be started, and when the other article (t-shirt Jessy white 116) needs to be picked up, a decision can be made based on the status of the file and the requirements, whether the article can still be added to the existing file, or whether a separate file needs to be created.

This is shown in the system as follows.

Example 3:

Here you can see the same articles from the same supplier, but they have different market release dates.

We recommend importing these articles separately. Start with the first file and then decide on the second article later. Your options are:

  1. Merge it into the existing file
  2. Activate the pre-draft using the existing file
  3. Start a new file from scratch

This is shown in the system as follows.
