Tradeshows in Hong Kong slowly starting up

With the improving Covid-19 situation, we gradually see some small-scale trade-show initiatives emerge again. Important, because we experience these as essential places where buying and selling come together, where visitors have a higher possibility to spot new items and companies than online. We notice every year that physical attendance gives a different dimension.

As Covid-19 restrictions prohibited Chinese and foreign companies to exhibit themselves, Global Sources had made the choice to have those companies represented by so-called Ambassadors, who could provide information to visitors.

In Wanchai, we visited many companies that were actually exhibiting with their own Hong Kong staff. Although smaller than usual, we could liaise with many companies we know, that are using the ProductIP platform for the compliance management of their export to Europe.

Good to see many friends again after so long time!
