Regulatory Compliance Manager (Location NL) English Version

Regulatory Compliance Manager (Location NL) English Version

We believe in focusing on where you can make a difference – for us that is product compliance. Our challenge is to enable our customers to have a profitable business while acting responsibly and sustainably. With our unique software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution we provide producers, brand owners and (online) retailers with the tools, knowledge and confidence to do business responsibly. Together we realise a world in which products can be trusted!

What you will do

  • You will analyse legislation and standards to gain insight into requirements, supply chains and social responsibilities. Your goal is not only to build expert knowledge, but also to recognise context and coherence (or the lack thereof…).
  • You can share this knowledge with both colleagues and customers without losing yourself in the details. Whether after a question from a colleague, while writing a knowledge article or in a training with customers, you can meet your audience where they are.
  • You can structure our knowledge in a scalable way by, for instance, designing logical structures in our regulatory database.
  • You can spot opportunities to improve our services on the basis of societal and regulatory developments.

The team

The backbone of our services is the expert knowledge provided by our regulatory team. Our regulatory experts are located mainly in the Netherlands and Germany. We work flexibly and meet each other at the office every Wednesday. Our scope is non-food consumer and professional products. One of the challenges we currently face is the tsunami of new legislation coming from Brussels. An important part of our job is to translate legislation into understandable requirements and actions for our customers. Will you contribute to our ambitions and become part of our team?

Your background

  • You have a higher professional or academic level of working and thinking, with at least five years of experience, preferably in a product compliance role, for example as a quality (assurance) manager or product compliance expert.
  • You have been technically trained and have a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. A legal background on the other hand can be very useful as well – you should, however, be able to understand the technical aspects.
  • You are analytical and practical; you answer questions in such a way that next time our customers can solve problems themselves.
  • You are familiar with supply chain and retail.
  • You are down to earth and accessible and value sharing knowledge above keeping it to yourself.
  • You speak and write fluently English, preferably also Dutch.

About us

We at ProductIP are widely recognised for our expertise in product compliance. Our knowledge and experience have been gained by working towards our ambitious goal: a world in which products can be trusted. We are very committed to the environmental and social challenges that are inseparably linked to this.

We might be a bit stubborn and headstrong at times, but we have a high-quality standard and take compliance very seriously. We cherish our down to earth culture and the family-like atmosphere. With more than 60 employees at five locations in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and China, we are modest in size, but the impact of what we do is less modest: ProductIP represents over 50 billion euros in trade for our 30,000+ users, and our significance is growing daily.

What you can expect

  • A challenging position in a growing company with serious ambitions.
  • A hybrid workplace – we meet at the office in Ede at least every Wednesday.
  • A competitive salary.
  • Making impact together!

We do not (yet) live in a world where products can be trusted. So, there is work to be done!
